Born in Paris in 1974, the only musical culture Chamylia received was from the viennese waltzes and tangos she heard on her grandmother's old vinyls. Her inaugural introduction to mainstream music was via the first free radios and it was funk and rap which consumed her until the advance of techno in France.
In 1994, she went to South of France, meets the batucada Viagem Samba and dives into the universe of percussions. She plays 5 years on street festivals, carnivals and other demonstrations which give her the taste of stage. The trance of afro-Brazilian rhythms brings her to techno.
In 2001 and 2002, she organizes private partys with a friend, with fun topics & open mix, where she discovers deejaying. Mainly influenced by Laurent Garnier, she discovers Plastikman, Murcof, Nittin Sawney and so many more.. Then Chamylia flied away for London where she visited places such as Nag Nag Nag. She enlarged her influences with Vitalic, Miss Kittin or Felix da Housecat. In London she started her productions and experienced the advantages of computer technology which opened her music.Back in France in 2004, she crosses the road of Spiral Tribe, big outdoor sound and machines. She discovers the subtleties of jungle, tek, drum n'bass and the enjoyments of live.

It is Dj Wyl (RCA) which offers her to play in live act in 2006 for the first time. Then the collective Natural Groove gives her the possibility of sharing the stage of the festival Happy Garden Party 2007 with Pablo Bolivar and Anja Schneider, as well as that of the Le Jardin Electronique party with Lu-nl and François A. In May 2007 Givichy Universal released her first Ep SOLEIL LEVANT impregnated of japanese and brazilian sounds. An invitation to a trip where melancholia and acidity mixing. Then she joins the label Groove Guardians and signs DREAM Ep, representative of her eclectic influences.
It is these musical journeys and moods which provides Chamylia with her musical inspiration… Deep, house, drum n'bass, minimal, whatever the style. She shares her music like a journey through the mind and personality of each style.

Chamylia's music is designed to be consuming with sensitivity and without moderation.
